陈远其,湖南常宁人,博士、教授(校聘)、硕士生导师,湖南科技大学地理环境与双碳研究所所长。北卡州立大学访问学者,湖南省青年骨干教师,湘潭市高层次人才。于2015年获中国科学院大学生态学博士学位。主要研究方向为:土壤生态学,重点关注森林生态系统碳氮循环与植物-土壤-土壤生物互作。近年来主持和参与国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金等纵向项目10余项,发表学术论文40余篇,获湖南省自然科学三等奖1项(第1)。兼任Journal of Plant Ecology(中科院2区)青年编委,Frontiers in Forests and Global Change专题客座主编,Soil Biology & Biochemistry, Science of the Total Environment, Land Degradation & Development, Biochar, 《应用生态学报》,《林业科学》等期刊审稿人。
